The enticement of TV advertising dollars might be too much for Google to refuse as the search engine giant evaluates a move into the lucrative pay TV industry in the US.

As everyone has come to know, Google is the biggest seller of online advertising and with $US150 billion up for grabs in the US alone, it’s no wonder that Google has been discussing distribution rights with companies such as Walt Disney, Time Warner and Discovery.

Google’s insatiable appetite for total web advertising domination doesn’t stop there either, the company has also been very busy with other initiatives such as making available less costly online video, creating free ad supported online channels and launching Google TV.

It’s really only a matter of time until Google makes its presence felt across the global realm of television and once they do, you can expect the roll out to reach the shores of Australia very quickly thanks to the nature of high speed broadband and the Internet.
